POSITION TITLE: Shop Foreman
LOCATION: Naples, FL KAPF
OBJECTIVE
Lead a team of mechanics to provide inspection, troubleshooting and
repair of aircraft serviced by employer in accordance with
manufacturers and FAA requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform maintenance and repair on a variety of piston engine
aircraft in accordance with manufacturers and FAA regulations.
Diagnose and repair aircraft malfunctions in compliance with
manufacturers and FAA guidelines and regulations, returning
aircraft to service in an airworthy condition.
Provide leadership and guidance to shop personnel daily.
Provide repair status updates to DOM daily.
Liaison with manufacturer representatives to obtain technical
information to expedite troubleshooting and Return to Service (RTS)
of aircraft.
Prepare documentation, repair and maintenance records, and other
required paperwork as per appropriate regulations and
procedures.
Complete and sign off aircraft inspections as required by FAA
regulations.
Maintain work schedules of shop personnel to meet repair
timelines.
Assure the timely and efficient completion of repair work while
maintaining the highest regard for airworthiness and safety.
Inspect aircraft in compliance with manufacturers and FAA
guidelines and regulations.
Communicate with co-workers, management, customers, and others in a
courteous and professional manner.
Conform with all safety rules and wear/use all appropriate safety
equipment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or the equivalent
FAA certification in Airframe & Powerplant (A&P), Inspection
Authorization (IA)
Minimum of eight (8) years of previous related A&P
experience.
Must have sufficient tools to perform duties of the position.
Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
A thorough understanding of FAA regulations and guidelines of Part
61, 141 and 145 as it relates to the repair requirements of
aircraft.
Cursory knowledge of modern-day avionics (glass panel) and
installation requirements (desirable)
Operational knowledge of all shop equipment, tools, and line
services.
Strong knowledge and comprehension of Service Bulletins, Service
Letters, and ADs.

located in Naples FL at KAPF. Established in 1998, the employer is
a customer-focused business meeting the flight and service
objectives of both domestic and international aviators. Since 2007,
the employer has been a Cirrus Flight Training Center and is a
limited-warranty Cirrus Maintenance facility.
The company's maintenance facility provides service for most
manufacturers of GA aircraft. The employer boasts over 25,000
square feet of maintenance and storage capabilities and is
considered a premier provider of GA flight and maintenance services
in Southwest Florida.
This position is located on Florida's Paradise Coast in Naples, FL.
