of the team. How You Contribute and Succeed
- Follow instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the
patient's body needs imaging.
- Talk the patient through the procedure and answer questions to
lower their anxiety.?
- Correctly position the patient, adjust the imaging equipment to
the specified position
- Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to yourself and to
the patient.
- Follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient
shielding.
- Keep good patient records.
- Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock,
anticipating future needs, and placing orders.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Comply with all HIPAA compliance policies.
- Ensures that documentation is timely and accurate in the
electronic health record.
- Performs within guidelines of specific privileges approved by
the governing body and delegated by the Medical Director .
- Provides support to medical and office staff. The right person
for this role will delight in providing a great experience to the
patient, will have a curious mind that always looks for a way to
improve, and be compassionate for patients experiencing chronic
and/or acute pain. To be successful in this role, the person will
be a great team member, working together with others, kind and
friendly, open to feedback for growth, and a role model of our
values. We prefer at least two years of experience but are willing
to train newer teammates with the right focus on patient care,

Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in radiologic technology or radiology
- Certificate from the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT)
- Active Radiology Technician License for the state of practice
is required.
- Familiarity with HIPAA policies
- BCLS certification is required. ACLS preferred.
- Prefer 2+ years of experience in a Medical/Surgical ASC
setting; Interventional Pain Management specialty is highly
preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to
communicate care plans to patients and teammates and to chart
information into Electronic Health Records.
