  • Follow instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging.
  • Talk the patient through the procedure and answer questions to lower their anxiety.?
  • Correctly position the patient, adjust the imaging equipment to the specified position
  • Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to yourself and to the patient.
  • Follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding.
  • Keep good patient records.
  • Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating future needs, and placing orders.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Comply with all HIPAA compliance policies.
  • Ensures that documentation is timely and accurate in the electronic health record.
  • Performs within guidelines of specific privileges approved by the governing body and delegated by the Medical Director .
  • Provides support to medical and office staff. The right person for this role will delight in providing a great experience to the patient, will have a curious mind that always looks for a way to improve, and be compassionate for patients experiencing chronic and/or acute pain. To be successful in this role, the person will be a great team member, working together with others, kind and friendly, open to feedback for growth, and a role model of our values. We prefer at least two years of experience but are willing to train newer teammates with the right focus on patient care, service, and teamwork.     • Associate degree in radiologic technology or radiology
    • Certificate from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • Active Radiology Technician License for the state of practice is required.
    • Familiarity with HIPAA policies
    • BCLS certification is required. ACLS preferred.
    • Prefer 2+ years of experience in a Medical/Surgical ASC setting; Interventional Pain Management specialty is highly preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate care plans to patients and teammates and to chart information into Electronic Health Records.
