Job DescriptionNorth Naples Church is accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Technician. The schedule is full-time, Monday - Friday, 12 PM - 8 PM, and occasional Saturdays.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform assigned repairs to equipment, walls, plumbing, air conditioning, and electrical and lighting.
• Respond to maintenance tickets submitted by church and school employees on an ongoing basis and in a timely manner.
• Responsible for setup and tear down of scheduled room configurations for classrooms and event spaces on a regular basis.
• Assemble furniture and move furniture or other large items from one place to another on campus.
• Perform general preventative maintenance work to maintain the church and school campus.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties as needed such as washing large vehicles and pressure washing areas of the property.
• Assist campus security as needed for traffic monitoring and control.
• Assist with routine cleaning duties as needed to include cleaning restrooms, emptying trash and recycling, cleaning floors, and removing rubbish.
• Perform minor landscaping duties to meet the needs of the campus.
• Identify and notify manager of any observations concerning need for major repairs to be outsourced.
• Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma and at least 2 years' experience maintaining property.
  • Relevant trade certifications are preferred, but not required.
  • Must be self-disciplined, highly motivated and detail oriented.
  • Good communication skills and command of English language.
  • Customer service skills are very important, as this position will frequently interact with staff, congregants, and families.
