Description Robert Half has partnered with a company in the Hotels field, to fill an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. This Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position offers an opportunity to become an essential part of a company in the Hotels industry. Located in Naples, Florida, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary position. In this progressive department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.
Major responsibilities

• 
  Implement full-cycle A/P
  
  
• 
  Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
  
  
• 
  Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
  
  
• 
  Perform special projects as assigned
  
  
• 
  Assist with internal and external audits as needed
  
  
• 
  Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
  
  
• 
  Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
  
  
• 
  Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
  
  
• 
  Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners Requirements - Expertise in Microsoft Excel
  
  
• 
  Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
  
  
• 
  AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
  
  
• 
  Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
  
  
• 
  Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
  
  
• 
  Be detailed, flexible, and organized
  
  
• 
  Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
