Position Title: Catch of the Pelican Server

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Catch of the Pelican Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

--- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
--- Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
--- Have full knowledge of the outlet menu
--- Ability to utilize a POS system properly
--- Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
--- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling F&B
--- Other duties as assigned

Job Description:

The Catch Server is responsible for checking place setting to ensure they are set to the appropriate number and are well polished and placed. Must be present during the pre-shift lineup meeting and understand all specials being offered that day. Will greet all guest seated in their section and present the menu to guests and verbally describe any specials offered. Maintain cleanliness of the table throughout service and ensure all proper utensils are prepared to guests. Attend to all guests needs, understand the menu along with the wine list, and ensure any allergies are accommodated. Ability to utilize a POS system and properly put in seat numbers, course numbers, and fires. Responsible to help other team members with orders, cleaning table or other tasks they may need assistance with. Assisting with all closing duties and tasks assigned to prepare the restaurant for the next service.

Shift: Flexible

Day(s) Required: FLEXIBLE including Holidays and Weekends

Anticipated Start Date: Two (2) weeks from date of job offer

Minimum Requirements:

--- 2 years of serving experience
--- Ability to work weekends and holidays and a varied schedule
--- Ability to greet guests using proper language clearly and professionally

Physical Requirements:

--- Must be able to stand/walk/step for extended periods of time
--- Must be able to work in hot/cold conditions at any given time
--- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
