Rana Furniture Housekeeper will be responsible to maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for commercial establishments. The position is a Part-time position (24 Hours) a week in a fast-paced environment requiring multi-tasking and organizational skills. As a Rana Furniture Housekeeper, you will be asked to: Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors. Vacuum clean carpets, rugs, and draperies Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery Dust and polish furniture and fittings. Clean metal fixtures and fittings. Empty and clean trash containers. Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner. Clean wash basins and mirrors Wipe down glass surfaces Wash windows as scheduled Operate mechanized cleaning equipment Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working conditions. Other duties may be assigned. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment. Physical requirements for a housekeeper job Most housekeeper jobs in a commercial environment involve demanding physical tasks that require certain physical abilities including but not limited to: Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel, and bend. Able to lift, push, pull, and carry a minimum of weight of approximately 25lbs. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to squat and crouch. Able to work in confined spaces. Able to tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals. Competency requirements Able to listen and follow instructions. Effective communication skills. Able to work in different stores and able to work unsupervised. Able to always maintain a professional manner. Displays integrity and honesty. Maintains a positive attitude towards clients, visitors, and employees. Demonstrates attention to detail and thoroughness. Able to follow and adhere to standard policies and procedures.
