Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel Cardiac Sonographer for a travel job in Cape Coral, Florida. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/03/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echocardiographer with at least 3 years of adult cardiac echo experience and current RDCS or RCS certification. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is in a non-invasive cardiology unit - Work with adult cardiac patient population - Shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with every fourth weekend worked and a day off the week before and after - No call required - Must work one holiday during assignment - Travelers are first to float and may be asked to float to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes - Use of Epic EMR system; Epic experience preferred - Equipment includes 3D Echo and Philips machines - Expected to function as core staff within a welcoming, team-oriented culture - All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application and will not be approved afterward - Orientation begins on a Friday with both remote and on-site requirements for badge and ID pickup - Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date - Scrub requirements not specified - Testing or vaccination requirements include COVID and flu /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 3 years experience as an adult Echo Tech with cardiac experience - Current RDCS or RCS certification required - Current BLS certification required - Prior travel experience is preferred but not required - Experience with 3D echocardiography and Phillips systems preferred - Epic EMR experience preferred - License required if applicable - Must submit references and required documentation for consideration - Strict 50 mile radius rule applies; candidates must not own or cosign property within 50 miles of the facility /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-620790.
