Position Title: Assistant Housekeeping Manager

Assists the Housekeeping Manager and Director of Housekeeping in the supervision of all Housekeeping operations to ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness are met for guest rooms and public areas. Complete daily inspections and hold team members accountable.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager and Director of Housekeeping, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

--- Consistently offering professional, friendly, and engaging service
--- Print list of guest rooms to be cleaned immediately for arrivals and list of prospective check-out. Plan daily cleaning assignments and projects for room attendants, housemen and public utility area team members.
--- Attend daily line-up and participate in monthly communication and trainings.
--- Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily to ensure standards are met. Assist in supervising an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space.
--- Relieve Housekeeping supervisors during meal breaks.
--- Communicate guest room status to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner.
--- Performs administrative duties such as, but not limited to, scheduling and distribution of Housekeepers gratuities and requisitions/orders supplies and guest room amenities.
--- Responds to guest questions. Provide guest assistance, direction and information as requested when working in public areas.
--- Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
--- Perform duties of the Housekeeping manager during his/her absence or when necessary.
--- Perform room attendant/ supervisor job functions when needed.
--- Maintain a strong communication with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments for operational needs.
--- Other duties as assigned

Shift: Flexible

Day(s) Required: FLEXIBLE including Holidays and Weekends

Minimum Requirements:

--- Experience with HotSOS and Opera required
--- Excellent time management skills
--- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
--- Attention to detail
--- Ability to use cleaning chemicals
--- Compliances with COVID-19 guidelines
--- Degree in Hotel Management preferred.

Experience/Skill Requirements:

--- One (1) year experience in Housekeeping operations preferred.
--- Three (3) years supervisory experience preferred.
--- Prior experience in high end luxury.
--- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma required.

Physical Requirements:

--- Must be able to stand/walk/step for extended periods of time
--- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
--- Must be able to bend, reach and squat

Anticipated Start Date: Two (2) weeks from date of job offer
