Job Summary and Qualifications We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate Electrophysiology Technician for a full-time opportunity. As an EP Technician on our team, you will greet our patients, comfort them and transport them to the EP Lab. Once in the lab, you will assist the physician in performing invasive EP procedures. Typical duties may include: - Assemble supplies and equipment needed for procedures - Assist in soothing and positioning patients - Maintain sterile techniques - During procedures, monitor the patient as you assist the physician - After the procedure, gather equipment for cleaning and sterilization - May also transport patients to recovery Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology or related field - RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist) preferred - Two (2) years of Electrophysiology experience - ACLS and BLS required - Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, arrhythmia identification, hemodynamic changes and all interventional devices/procedures (EP/ablation/coronary/peripheral) Northside Hospital is a 280 bed facility offering state-of-the-art treatment.
