Gastroenterology Physician at Concord Physicians Solutions
summary: A Gastroenterology Physician providing 24-hour inpatient
hospitalist coverage in Cape Coral, FL, performing consults,
follow-ups, and specialized GI procedures including colonoscopy,
endoscopy, and ERCP. The role requires flexibility across sites
with nightly or alternate night calls and collaboration with
advanced practice providers in a fully staffed endoscopy unit.
Candidates must hold an active Florida medical license, be board
certified in Gastroenterology, and meet procedural and
credentialing requirements. Location: Cape Coral, FL (Gulf Coast
Region) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing through end of year
Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days Schedule & Coverage: - Shift:
Daily 24-hour inpatient call (7:00 AM 7:00 AM) - Frequency: Minimum
1 full week/month - Call: Nightly or every other night (varies by
site) - Site Coverage: One location/day no mid-day travel;
flexibility across sites preferred Duties & Volume: - Inpatient GI
hospitalist coverage - Consults, follow-ups, and procedures
(scopes) - Patient Volume: patients/day Required Procedures: -
Colonoscopy - Endoscopy - ERCP Required - EUS Preferred (minimum 24
EUS in last 36 months incl. mucosal/submucosal, pancreaticobiliary,
FNA) Support Provided: - Advanced Practice Providers - Fully
staffed endoscopy unit - General hospital support Requirements: -
Active FL Medical License - Board Certified in Gastroenterology -
Clean NPDB and background - Must meet procedure log thresholds: -
50 inpatient/consult patients in past 12 months - Documented ERCP
