We can't wait to have you join our Pharmacy team, your second family!Position Highlights:--Provides safe and effective drug therapy management to improve the outcomes of patientsWorks centrally and de-centrally to perform all functions of a pharmacy technician including prepacking medications, restocking automated machines, mixing IVs, and auditing records.-- Consults with pharmacists and other technicians to ensure the best patient care and patient safetyThe Ideal Candidate:Will have a minimum of 1 year of hospital experienceMust have a Florida pharmacy technician licenseResponsibilities:Prepacking of medications, refilling crash carts, filling first doses, and refilling automated dispensing machines with patient safety at the forefront and ensuring accuracyAuditing of patient charts to ensure safety and accuracy of medication administrationMixing IV medications utilizing proper technique and following all USP 797 regulationsUnderstand, follow and enforce regulations of USP 797, the joint commission and other hospital policiesParticipates in the training of new technician students and techniciansMaintaining flexibly through different assignmentsCredentials and Qualifications:Licensed as a pharmacy technician in the state of Florida required
