Job Description Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Primary Care Fort Myers, Fl We are seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to work in one of our primary care facilities and adjacent practices located throughout the greater Ft. Myers FL area. We are looking for empathetic providers that are enthusiastic about their patient---s health. Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation with above market rate for experienced professionals Salary - 95K - 145K Depending on Experience $5,000 Relocation Bonus Malpractice coverage $2,000 for as well as an additional 40 hour of PTO to use for CMEs per year Paid vacation, sick leave, licensing fee Etc. Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Responsibilities Responsible for the delivery of patient care in their area of specialty through the process of assessment; evaluation; diagnosing; recognition and prevention of adverse event; planning; and implementation. Performs responsibilities in four areas of practice: clinician, teacher, leadership, and professional development. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure safe; effective and efficient patient care delivery; and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Continuously monitors quality patient care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. Provides leadership in the practice location. Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) are required to function consistent with Florida Law The Advanced Provider practices in ONE place of service, usually outpatient but could be inpatient. Provides treatment for less urgent acute conditions as well as manages chronic conditions and provides care coordination. Sees about 20 to 25 patients a day Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Requirements Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required Preferably 3 Years of experience working in a primary care setting or similar State of Florida Licensures Requirements BLS is required ACLS may be required as identified/area of specialty ZR MASC104
