We travel. This position will need to spend some time with the

So now that you know about us, here's where you come in--- At
PartnerCare, we believe our team members are at the heart of our
organization. We are looking for Medical Scribe (MDS) to join the
team. Our Medical Scribes are on the "front-line" of our
PartnerCare Practices, serving as integral members of the care team
and acting as our physician's personal efficiency partners. While a
Medical Scribe does not perform clinical work (e.g., does not touch
patients, does not practice medicine), they are completely immersed
in the healthcare ecosystem by standing elbow-to-elbow with our
physicians or nurses each day. Our MDSs transcribe verbal and
written notes from physicians and nurses into readable documents
for medical records. You must be familiar with medical terminology
and have excellent listening and data-entry skills. Some
post-secondary education or medical background is preferred, but we
are willing to train the right candidate.
Had you been with us last month, these are the things you would do:
Regularly interfaces with providers, team leads, and staff to
facilitate communication and HER/EMR records entry activities.
Taking notes during patient visits and documenting them in the
electronic health records system
Learning about the medical process and using a team approach in
patient supervision and documentation
Working with a supervising Physician or Doctor to complete and
submit medical records
Communicating with patients and supervising Physicians
Completing all administrative tasks efficiently and helping the
Physician take tests and give out medication
and after having done all these things and more, you would have the
following--- High School Diploma/GED is required. Bachelor's Degree
in Business or Healthcare Administration is HIGHLY preferred.
Two years of applicable experience is required; preferably in an
Knowledge of Healthcare regulatory guidelines to include, including
but not limited to HIPPA and AHCA is required.
Board certification from The American College of Medical Scribe
Specialists (ACMSS) is a plus.
Excellent listening and communication skills
Familiar with medical terminology
A keen eye for detail
Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,
