Position Title: Asst Food & Beverage Manager
Shift: FLEXIBLE
Day(s) Required: FULL TIME
Job Description: The Assistant F&B Manager is responsible for
the overall performance of the entire restaurant staff & the duties
each staff member performs. Management must oversee these duties &
assure that the execution of these duties reflects the highest
standards possible. The Assistant F&B Manager must communicate
with guests on a consistent basis to gain feedback about their
experience & look for ways to improve the experience. The
Restaurant Manager assures a high standard of appearance,
hospitality & the service of all staff, as well as the cleanliness
& appearance of the Outlet. This is accomplished by supervision &
training of all staff & follow-up through testing & reviews. This
person must manage within budgetary constraints, as well as develop
& implement programs to increase sales (repeat business and higher
check averages). The Restaurant Manager must complete all
managerial duties, including knowledge of POS system, scheduling,
disciplining, payroll & supervision of all revenues incurred in the
restaurant.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of F&B, responsibilities and
essential job functions include but are not limited to the
following:
--- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging
service
--- Lead and manage the F&B Team in all aspects of the
department & ensure service standards are followed
--- Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
--- To assist in the recruitment and training of F&B staff
--- Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings
--- Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the F&B
teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and
promotions
--- Have full knowledge of all Outlet menus
--- Manage the departmental budget
--- Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
--- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling
F&B
--- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
--- High school diploma or GED; 4 years' experience in the food and
beverage, culinary, or related professional area OR - 2-year degree
from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and
Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or
related major; 2 years' experience in the food and beverage,
culinary, or related professional area.
--- Full Time Management Position that requires full flexibility,
ability to work weekends and holidays and a varied schedule
--- Hotel experience with operating multiple Outlets & Bars, Along
with a thorough understanding of restaurant service
Physical Requirements:
--- Must be able to stand/walk/step for extended periods of
time
--- Must be able to work in hot/cold conditions at any given
time
--- Must be able to lift up to 20 pound
