Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Behavior
Specialist with BCBA licensure is needed for a K-12 school setting
in Cape Coral, FL. This contract position spans the current school
year and offers the opportunity to work directly with students in
varied educational environments, focusing on supporting behavioral
development and intervention strategies. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior
intervention plans for students with autism and other developmental
challenges. Collaborate closely with school staff, families, and
multidisciplinary teams to promote effective behavioral support.
Conduct assessments and data collection to evaluate student
progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Provide training
and guidance to teachers and aides on behavior management
techniques. Maintain compliance with state and district regulations
and documentation standards. Qualifications: Active BCBA licensure
is required. Experience working with children in K-12 settings,
especially in autism classrooms, is preferred. Strong communication
and collaboration skills to work effectively within school teams.
Ability to manage multiple caseloads and maintain detailed records.
Location: On-site work in Cape Coral, FL, within a K-12 school
environment. Hours: Full-time position with approximately 37.5
hours per week. Contract duration aligns with the current school
year, offering a comprehensive engagement across educational terms.
