ControllerWant to join The World's Fastest Growing Cargo Airline? Then look no further!The selected candidate will oversee the accounting operations of the company. Undertakes all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal controls. Responsible for the production of financial reports and for ensuring that they are issued timely. Oversees all employees involved in the account process, including accounts receivables, accounts payable, payroll, inventory, and compliance. This position reports to the CFO.Position requires a heightened sense of urgency, a high level of accuracy, the ability to work independently, and research and resolve items quickly with other team members as needed.Essential Duties:Providing analysis, management reporting, planning, and accounting support to our global business.Prepare balance sheets and profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.Complete balance sheet reconciliations.Work with an external accounting firm for tax prep and filling.Present timely and accurate financial reports to the leadership team and Board of Directors.Record all accounting transactions including A/R and A/P.Work with the accounting staff to produce an accurate GL and to implement proper Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition.Budgeting and forecasting.Financial month-end close process.Monthly results commentary.Creating and preparing financial analysis.Product pricing, costing, and margin analysis.Track capital expenditure projects.Excess and obsolete stock review.Ad hoc reporting.Special financial projects as assigned by the leadership team.Manage Assistant Controller and other accounting staff.Work collaboratively with members of the Finance and Accounting TeamEducation/Experience/Skills:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Technical Field.At least 10 years of accounting/financial analysis experience.Florida CPA required.Must be highly computer literate, have strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management and analytical skills.Previous experience with corporate restructuring highly desired.Requires deadline-driven, high-energy individual, able to work autonomously and lead as a key contributor to teams.The individual will be expected to be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting and finance field, including cost accounting.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills are a must, as well as willingness to accept and task ownership of new responsibilities in a fast-growing environment.Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook,Preferred Skills:Previous Accounting experience in the Aviation industry.QuickBooks experience preferred.If you are looking for a fascinating, challenging and meaningful career in the airline industry, we encourage you to contact us.
